Mark E. Moran, D.O, M.S.H.I, F.A.O.C.O. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, specializing in LASIK laser vision correction, cataracts, and routine eye examinations.
Dr. Moran has been performing refractive surgery in the Lehigh Valley Pennslyvania since 1993 and has corrected the vision of over 10,000 patients. He was the first surgeon in the area to do PRK.
He was selected as one of the Top 100 surgeons in the country by Sightpath Medical five years in a row. Dr. Moran has been practicing in Allentown, PA since 1990. Dr. Moran also has a special interest and skills in the use of computers in medicine. In addition to his medical degrees, he is certified in Healthcare Informatics.
Bianca Tang, O.D. Dr. Tang is a Summa cum laude graduate of Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She earned her undergraduate degree, also Summa cum laude, in Biological Sciences and Health Professions at Penn State University. She was part of the Schreyer Honors College and was Phi Beta Kappa there.
Her clinical experience includes working with patients with low vision, prescribing low vision devices and rehabilitation techniques. She was part of a team of occupational therapists and social workers providing device training, orientation and mobility training, as well as daily living services at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. While working there, she developed a special interest in working with visually impaired children with special needs. She interned at the VA Medical Center in New Jersey, and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Mandy has been working with Dr. Moran since 2000. She started as a receptionist and through various promotions is now one of his managers. Mandy holds several professional certifications, most recently she achieved Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (C.O.A) status. She was one of the first Certified Patient Service Specialists (C.P.S.S.) in Pennsylvania and is Ophthalmic Scribe Certified (O.S.C.). Mandy recently received her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification. She looks forward to both assisting patients in the front office along with assisting Dr. Moran on the clinical side.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 sons and twin granddaughters. She has a passion for music and the guilty pleasure of reality television. She looks forward to seeing our current patients and meeting new ones.
Cindy joined Dr. Moran in 2000, first a receptionist and then she quickly transitioned to be his lead scribe. Cindy is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) and has an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting.
